"This Is Your Life"

My very first review. Yay! Todays review will be on your song "This Is Your Life" on your 4th (and 2nd best) album "Day & Age"!

When i first heard this song i wanted to cry :(. Its really deep. This song makes people think. Thats a good thing I like your style. I can tell through your lyrics of this song and many others that you ache over the structure over the song. The lyrics never make since but at the same time they do. In "This Is Your Life" the Lyrics have deeper meaning than usual and thats why i love it. The drums, bass, and guitar compliment the lyrics so well. I also like how you guys always start the songs with entering with one instrument at a time. I was and still am very impressed with this song.

I give it a 4 1/2 star rating!

Guess What!

Hey Mr.Brightside!

Guess What! Riley and i wanted to go out to eat Saturday the 10th so we went to your fave resturant Chapalas, a Mexican restaurant in Las Vegas ya.. Cause we live right by it.Then since we were already so close we visited Chaparral High School the school that you and Mark went to.. We know some people who go there. It was cool to see some of the place you went to. Did you get any inspiration from those places? I bet you have gotten alot inspiration from your home town Las Vegas, "Samstown" and "Spaceman" as proof. I hope i dont come off to you as the "Syko stocker" type. Im just trying to understand your music better and hoping to learn where your inspiration comes from.
